Mr. Kwon is presently a speaker and a committee board member for the Environmental Assessors Association, as well as a member of the Environmental Site Assessment ASTM committee. He has managed over 2,500 projects, with various governmental, commercial, and private institutions serving more than 120 lenders. His major activities involve environmental site/risk assessment/audit and associated planning & engineering, QA/QC, RI/FS, asbestos/lead/PCBs inspection & abatement, hazardous material handling, underground storage tank removal, site (soil/groundwater) remediation with implementation of action plans and others with numerous public and private entities.
His technical and marketing capabilities in environmental assessment projects, designing & planning, health & safety and QC/QA standards; as well as his environmental background, knowledge and familiarity with CAL/OSHA, SCAQMD, ASTM 1527-97 and US-EPA rules and regulations, including CFR40, CCR 8.22, are key roles in JMK’s establishment and contribute to the operations and success of JMK.
He was a successfully lobbied Los Angeles MTA for a public private Joint Venture Compressed Natural Gas Supply contract for the largest public bus fleet in the US over 10 years representing West Coast Energy.
Currently, JMK is managing the construction projects($20M retail development in Korea town and a new student center-$15M in Taft, CA) and assisting the clients with various stages of real estate development from the feasibility study, due diligence, pre-entitlement process, and construction.
